Unless otherwise credited, the information on amphibians was obtained from "Michigan Frogs, Toads, and Salamanders: A field guide and pocket reference" written by James H. Harding and J. Alan Holman. This book is available through Michigan State University's Extension Service and Museum in E. Lansing, MI., and Kellogg Bird Sancturary near Hickory Corners, MI. Copies may also be obtained from the Michigan United Conservation Club, your local library and bookstore.
