Opportunities
The Kellogg Bird Sanctuary offers various volunteer and internship opportunites throughout the year.
Volunteering Opportunities
Sanctuary volunteers guide visitors through the Sanctuary trail, greet guest in our gift shop and assist with public programs offered year round. In 2006 our tour volunteers provided informative tours to over 104 groups, including 2,746 children and 1,083 adults. Gift shop volunteers collectively put in 578 hours allowing the gift shop to be open to our weekend visitors.
Internship Opportunities
The Kellogg Bird Sanctuary offers two 15-week internship opportunities during the summer (May-August) and in the fall (September-December). Juniors, Seniors and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
