KBS faculty have received grants from several different federal agencies to involve undergraduates in their research. These positions give you a chance to conduct full-time research under the supervision of faculty.

This program is 10 weeks long (30th May to Aug 5th, 2011).

Compensation:

• $3000--$4500 stipend plus FREE room and board
• Up to $400 to cover transportation to and from KBS
• Up to $500 for research expenses

• Influence of soil trace gas emissions on plant productivity
• Drought tolerance of switch grass clones
• Managing grasslands for production and diversity
