Join us for a Fall Migration Celebration!

Celebrate fall waterfowl migration with a visit to the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary’s Wintergreen Lake provides a safe haven for birds to fuel up as
they travel from breeding grounds in the far North to winter grounds in the Southern US and beyond.

  • Practice waterfowl ID along the lakeshore
  • Along the trails volunteers will lead family friendly games and activities to learn about why birds migrate,
the dangers of migration and the routes and destinations of migrant waterfowl in Michigan
  • Decoys on exhibit and carving demonstrations**
  • Enjoy cider and a treat along the way

**Special exhibit: "Artful Deception" a display of waterfowl decoys through the years by Willy McDonald and students.
Special thanks to Willy and Diane for long time support of the Sanctuary!  Visit The Duck Blind website to learn more.

FREE admission for Sanctuary Members.
