We’re looking for a few good educators! Are you enthusiastic, responsible and caring? Would you like to lead or assist with teaching engaging, hands-on activities that allow kids (6-12 years old and in 7th and 8th grade) to explore the natural world and our connection to it?
Sr. Counselors will participate in this curriculum training:

4-H Backpack to Adventure: Youth Leaders in a Global World is an innovative, competency-driven and research-based curriculum from Michigan State University Extension. It is designed for adult and teen volunteers, parents, professionals and others to use in working with young people aged 9 to 19 to develop the knowledge and skills they need to become youth leaders in an interconnected, global environment.
During the training you will be introduced to and participate in a few activities from the full curriculum. You can buy print or electronic (pdf) versions of 4-H Backpack to Adventure: Youth Leaders in a Global World (4H1643) from the MSU Extension Bookstore at bookstore.msue.msu.edu.
