With the help of members, donors, staff and an advisory council, the Sanctuary completed a user survey to gather input on the types of programs and educational experiences that should be provided in the future.  The survey results have been used to put together a five-year strategic plan for the Sanctuary.

Highlights for the coming year include:

• the completion of the Sanctuary pedestrian bridge
• the fabrication and installation of interpretive signage
• creating community partnerships for land management activities
• opening hiking trails around Wintergreen Lake
• re-establishing the Schaubel Bluebird Trail
• continuing internship and citizen science opportunities
