Bird Sanctuary Trail Guide
Trail guides (PDF) are also available in the Resource Center during normal hours. The 3/4-mile (1.27 km) Sanctuary trail runs alongside Wintergreen Lake, and offers a rewarding view of resident waterfowl; it continues through the birds of prey and gamebird enclosures areas, with plenty of benches for resting along the way.
The paved trail is wheelcheer and stroller accessible. An aid or assistant may be necessary to push a wheelchair user up some inclines along the path. An extra standard wheelchair is available in the Resource Center for visitors who wish to use it.
