Student rates apply to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in at least one class at KBS.
To reserve lodging all students must complete a Housing Reservation Form

KBS offers an unforgettable experience for learning! We are located on the shores of Gull Lake and the surrounding area offers many recreational opportunities.

Students in residence may enjoy canoeing, swimming, hiking, soccer, volleyball, bonfires, and BBQs. Delicious meals prepared by our chef and staff feature locally grown produce and a variety of vegetarian options.

Wireless internet service is available throughout KBS. Rates include weekly housekeeping services.

Students Weekly Room & Board - per person per week
One room apartment- single $285.00
Two room apartment - double occupancy -$245.00
Two room apartment - triple occupancy- $205.00
Orchard Dorm Suites - quad occupancy $185.00 (overflow lodging only)
The student room and board plan is required for all students in residence at KBS.

Weekly rates will apply when staying 4 nights or more.
Daily rate of $55.00 will apply if staying 1, 2 or 3 nights (includes meals)

17 Meals included:
Breakfast - Monday to Saturday  (served 7:00 to 8:00 am)
Lunch - Monday to Sunday (served 12:00 to 1:00 pm)
Dinner - Monday to Thursday  (served 6:00 to 7:00 pm)
Vegetarian options are available at all meals.

Apartments -
One room apartments with two twin beds in main room.
Two room apartments with two twin beds in back bedroom and a sleeper couch in front living room area.

All apartments have a kitchenette with full size refrigerators, stove or microwave, private bathroom, desk with chair, dresser, fans, TV's with satellite dish network, and wireless internet connections are available in all rooms.

Orchard Dorms (overflow lodging only)
The Orchard Dorms are set up as two room suites, with a shared bathroom (4 beds/1 bathroom per suite). Rooms have two twin beds, desk with chair, dresser, fans, a dorm-sized refrigerator, telephone, TV's with satellite dish network and wired and wireless internet connections. There is an Activity Room with lounge area, TV/DVD/VCR with cable, pool table, pop machine, guest computer, full size refrigerator, sink and air conditioning.

Additional Student Rates
Overnight guests must register at the Conference Center Front Desk located in McCrary Hall. Meals for guests may be purchased at McCrary Hall at the reduced rates of:
Full  Breakfast: $6.50
Lunch: $7.50
Dinner: $9.50

A $50.00 cleaning deposit will be required for all stays of over two weeks.
Sorry, no pets allowed.
Smoking is prohibited inside all KBS buildings and lodging rooms.

To Reserve Housing:
All housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number of  apartments available, so submit your request early! To ensure a lodging reservation for summer school, apply by April 5, 2010.

To reserve housing complete the Housing Reservation Form (PDF). You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this file. Unless you have the full version of Acrobat you will not be able to save the completed form. However, you will be able to print it. Include the completed form with a $50.00 deposit and mail it to the Conference Center:
