KBS visiting faculty, research assistants, and graduate students conducting research at KBS.            To reserve lodging we must have a "Housing Reservation Form", available at bottom of page.

Delicious meals prepared by our chef and staff feature locally grown produce and a variety of vegetarian options. Wireless internet service is available in the housing units and throughout KBS. All rates include linens and towels along with weekly housekeeping services.

17 meals included with room and board:
Breakfast - Monday to Saturday  (served 7:00 to 8:00 am)
Lunch - Monday to Sunday  (served 12:00 to 1:00 pm)
Dinner - Monday to Thursday (served 6:00 to 7:00 pm)
Vegetarian options are available at all meals

Weekly rates will apply when staying 4 nights or more.
Daily rate $50.00 will apply if staying 1, 2 or 3 nights (meals extra)

Apartments -
One room apartments with two twin beds in room.
Two room apartments with two twin beds in back room and a sleeper couch in front living room.

All apartments are equipped with a kitchenette, stove, refrigerator or microwave, private bathroom, dresser, desk with chair, TV's with satellite dish network and wireless internet connections.

Orchard Dorm Suites - (overflow lodging only)
The Orchard Dorms are set up as two room suites, with a shared bathroom (4 beds/1 bathroom per suite). Rooms have two twin beds, desk with chair, dresser, fans, a dorm-sized refrigerator, TV's with satellite dish network and wires and wireless internet. There is an Activity Room with lounge area, TV/DVD/VCR with cable, pool table, pop machine, guest computer, full size refrigerator, singk and air conditioning.

Additional Researcher Rates
Overnight guests must register at the Conference Center Front Desk located in McCrary Hall. Individual meals may be purchased at McCrary Hall.

Coin operated washing machines and dryers are available on site.
A $50.00 cleaning deposit will be required for all stays of over two weeks.

Smoking is prohibited inside all KBS buildings and lodging rooms.

To Reserve Housing

All housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number of  apartments available so submit your request early. To ensure a lodging reservation, apply by April 5, 2010.
