Interested in heritage tourism, the history of cereal, or historic homes?
A tour of the Manor House provides information about the life of W.K. Kellogg, interesting details of this 1920's house, and information about the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station.

Built in 1925-1926, the Kellogg Manor House is a classic example of Tudor revival architecture with leaded glass bay windows, quarter-sawn oak coffered ceiling, a hand carved stairway, and beautiful Rookwood tile fireplaces and bathrooms.

2009 Guided Public Tour Schedule: We are open the first Sunday of most months from 1pm to 5pm with the last tour beginning at 4pm. Tours last about 1 hour:

  • September 13: Guided tours of the Manor House - (fee)
  • October 4: Free open house with guided or self guided tours
Guided Tour Admissions:
  • $5 for adults
  • $4 for Senior Citizens (65 and older)
  • $4 for students (ages 6-18)
  • Free for children 5 and under
Self guided tours are available by pre-arrangement Monday - Friday from February 1 to October 31. Please call (269) 671-2416. Donations requested for your visit.

We welcome Motor Coach and other groups throughout the year.  Please call or email conference@kbs.msu.edu to check available dates.

Meals in the Kellogg Manor House may be arranged for groups of 20 or more smaller groups may opt for a meal at McCrary Dining Hall . For current availability and price please call (269) 671-2400 or email conference@kbs.msu.edu.
