The W.K. Kellogg Biological Station located on beautiful Gull Lake offers a unique setting for your wedding. A reception held at the W.K. Kellogg Manor House offers indoor and outdoor seating options for up to 100 guests. A reception held on our lawn area is under a white canopy providing seating for 100-275 guests.

The W.K. Kellogg Manor House

The use of this stunning estate includes the magestic living room, dining room, small and large sun porches, terrace and reflection pool garden.

Reception package pricing is based on menu selection and per person fee of $15.00, plus 20% service fee and 6% sales tax.

Your wedding reception held at the Manor House includes:

• Tables elegantly adorned in your choice of white or Ivory linens, along with your choice of linen napkin colors. Linens for your cake table, head table and gift tables are also included. A variety of additional linen colors can be rented for an extra charge.
• Round tables to seat two, four or eight guests are provided along with Chiavari chairs.
• Beautiful Manor House China, flatware, stemware and a variety of elegant Manor House service wares.
• Choice of several elegant centerpieces and candle lighting or bring your own.
• Cake cutting service.
• Our experienced chef and catering staff provide a variety of delightful menu selections or they will assist you in creating a menu especially suited to you and your guests. A gratis taste testing is provided to help with your selections.
• Professional banquet attendants dressed in black and white formal
• Tiled dance floor area.
• CD player available for use if no other musicians will be present.
• AV equipment available for video presentation.

Lawn receptions**

The lakeside lawn area is perfect for receptions with 100 guests or more or for those couples who prefer an outdoor venue. The lakeside lawn reception comes set up with white canopy tent, tables, white padded chairs, bar area and 18x18 foot wood dance floor.

• For 100-125 guests: 40x60 canopy package $4,300
• For 125-199 guests: 40x80 canopy package $4,790
• For 200-275 guests: 40x100 canopy package $5,350

KBS Catering:

Our professional catering staff will complete your event by providing linens, china, stemware and take care of all set up and tear down so that you may relax and enjoy all aspects of your event. The Kellogg Biological Station catering fee for tented receptions is based on menu selection and per person fee of $7.00 per person, plus 20% service fee and 6% sales tax.

Outside Catering:

In addition to the Kellogg Biological Station catering we do have a preapproved outside catering list for you to choose from. All outside catering companies must be self sufficient supplying all services including linens and table settings. Pre-approved outside catering allowable for tent receptions only.
