Summer Algae Science Institute


This is an intensive hands-on workshop to experience the Algae Foundation’s Algae Academy curriculum. The Algae Academy is a free K-12, five-day curriculum kit. Teachers will learn how to use the curriculum kits that support students in understanding the fundamentals of algae and how algae can be applied as a solution for today’s global dilemmas.
The basics
- Date: June 20, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; lunch included
Location: Kellogg Biological Station, Hickory Corners, MI - Audience: Teachers, grades 2-12
- Compensation: $75 stipend, 2022-23 Algae Academy kits (free), T-shirt
- Registration: By June 13, limited to 30 participants
