Workshops

A Winter Porch Arrangement workshop is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16. Design your own evergreen porch pot insert that will last all winter long. Pruners or floral shears are helpful but not required, though attendees should bring garden gloves to protect hands from sap.

A boxwood wreath adorns a red door.

An Autumn Boxwood Wreath workshop is set for Monday, Nov. 21. Create a beautiful wreath using boxwood, a broad-leaved evergreen that lacks sap. The wreath can be hung throughout the rest of autumn and into the winter season. Garden gloves are recommended but optional.

A Whoville Evergreen Arrangement workshop is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1. Design a Dr. Seuss-inspired container arrangement that can be displayed inside or outside. Garden gloves are recommended but not required.

An Evergreen Swag workshop is set for Monday, Dec. 5. Create a lush evergreen display piece that will perfectly adorn a front door, fireplace mantle, or an object like a vintage sled. This piece is easy to make and is an especially good class for beginners. Pruners or floral shears are helpful but not required, though attendees should bring garden gloves to protect hands from sap.
