As we continue to process the tragedy that unfolded Feb. 13, 2023, on Michigan State University’s main campus, we will come together as a community to support one another, honor the survivors, and mourn the Spartans we lost that day.

The W.K. Kellogg Biological Station community invites Michigan State University alumni and all community members to a candlelight vigil at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at KBS.
The community vigil will take place outside, on the back terrace of the Kellogg Manor House on Kellogg Biological Station’s academic campus. The address is 3700 E. Gull Lake Dr., Hickory Corners, MI 49060.
The vigil is hosted by MSU’s Kellogg Biological Station, Calhoun County Spartans, and KZOO Spartans. It will feature a vocal performance by Kadeem Gilbert, MSU/KBS assistant professor of plant biology, and brief remarks from MSU, KBS, and community members.
Speakers will include:
- Kelly F. Millenbah, dean of MSU’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources
- Curtis Bell, J.D., ’90, director serving on MSU’s James Madison College Alumni Board
