About

This year’s scavenger hunt is set for Saturday, March 2. Arrive anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to uncover answers to questions about birds, animal tracks, winter survival and more. The experience is self-guided, free, and appropriate for people of all ages.

The scavenger hunt could take around 30 minutes to complete, or longer depending on your pace. All groups that complete the scavenger hunt will be entered to win a free family membership to the Sanctuary.

In addition to the scavenger hunt, Activity stations along the Sanctuary trails will be open from noon to 2 p.m.

During the month of March, there also will be a new theme for activities inside the Overlook Building, located along the Sanctuary’s Paved Path. March’s theme is “Great Big Sky.” Activities will include “a day as a meteorologist” in the dynamic play area, a weather book craft, and information on the spring bird migration.
