Join the W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary on Saturday, July 20, for a morning of fishing on Wintergreen Lake.

The basics

  • Time and date: 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20
  • Location: Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, 12685 East C Avenue, Augusta MI
  • Audience: Families
  • Fee: For Sanctuary members, $6/adults, $5/seniors and students, $4/children ages 2-17. For non-members, $8/adults, $7/seniors and students, $6/children ages 2-17.

About

Participants will:

  • Learn about fish and what they need to survive and thrive
  • Practice casting
  • Fish on Wintergreen Lake
  • Deliver some fish to the Sanctuary bald eagles

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather. All fishing materials will be provided. Children must have an adult with them at all times.

The cost for Sanctuary members is $6/adults, $5/seniors and students, $4/children ages 2-17. For non-members, the cost is $8/adults, $7/seniors and students, $6/children ages 2-17. Register by July 18 at bit.ly/kbs-fishing-for-eagles-2024.
