Seminar Programs

Weekly research seminars  offer both MSU and visiting scientists the opportunity to present their research on timely topics. Unless otherwise noted, weekly research seminars are held Fridays in the Terrace Room at 10:45 a.m.

KBS community colloquia offer KBS graduate students, postdocs, staff and faculty a platform to practice presenting their material and to brainstorm new ideas. The Colloquium Series is held in the Terrace Room each Monday at noon during the fall and spring semesters.

The Eminent Ecologist series brings well-known ecologists and evolutionary biologists to KBS each summer to interact with KBS faculty, students and staff for week-long visits.

Members of the KBS community gather to hear a talk in the Terrace Room, a common gathering place for seminars and colloquiua.
