Image preview

Students, mentors, and resident mentors at our 2022 Undergraduate Symposium.

On Wednesday, July 27th 2022 the Kellogg Biological Station hosted its annual Summer Undergraduate Research and Internship Symposium. Undergraduate students from 16 academic institutions presented their summer research and intern projects to the KBS community and the public during a two-hour poster session that was attended by over 130 individuals. Our 2022 KBS Summer Program student group included 5 interns, 9 Undergraduate Research Apprentices (URAs) from MSU, and 14 Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) students from around the country. The Symposium celebrated the culmination of the KBS 10-week summer undergraduate experience and showcased the incredible talent, dedication, and hard work of our 28 students who came to live and work at KBS this summer. Congratulations to these students on a truly incredible summer!
