MSU’s Kellogg Biological Station is hosting a fun and informative paddle on Lower Crooked Lake in Prairieville Township, a lake with a largely undeveloped shoreline and the site of MSU’s Lux Arbor Reserve. During the paddle you’ll stop for a short hike through the reserve where Dr. Stephen Hamilton will talk about agro-ecological research projects and Dr. Alan Kehew of Western Michigan University will explain how glaciers created the interesting topography. Dr. Kenneth Kornheiser and Kara Haas will help spot birds and other wildlife.

START LOCATION: Prairieville Township Park, Lower Crooked Lake (13000 Norris Rd, Plainwell 49080)
