Informal STEM Learning at Biological Field Stations
Dr. Jill Zarestky is an assistant professor in the Adult Education and Training program in the School of Education at Colorado State University. She earned her Ph.D. in educational human resource development, with a specialization in adult education, from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in computational and applied mathematics from University of Texas, Austin. Dr. Zarestky has more than 15 years of experience teaching mathematics and education courses in a variety of higher education contexts. Her research interests include nonformal and community-based education, particularly in the context of STEM education. She is the PI of one National Science Foundation project, and the former Secretary of the American Association of Adult and Continuing Education.
