Overview:
Plenary: Dr. Brook Wilke, Farm Manager, Kellogg Biological Station “Innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture at KBS”
In the morning we’ll have concurrent sessions on: smartphone microscopes, Avida-Ed, using models, 3D printing, freeze tolerance of plants, using apps for outdoor investigations
In the afternoon we will learn more about the sustainable agriculture work at KBS with a field trip to the Pasture Dairy Center and observation of a rainfall simulator at the Long-term Ecological Research field lab. Sneak peek of the rainfall simulator – You Tube video.
