What to expect:
The W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary will celebrate Earth Day on April 19 with free admission. In partnership with Gull Lake and Richland Elementary Schools, the Sanctuary will host an art show titled “Wings of Conservation.” The exhibit will feature a collaborative mural and bird sculptures created by students using recycled materials, highlighting birds and their habitats.
Visitors can also explore the Sanctuary’s trails, including the Paved Path, Lake Loop Trail, and Bluebird Trail, to see waterfowl, including Trumpeter Swans, and learn about prairie restoration.
Art will be displayed at the Sanctuary April 18 and 19, 2025.
