The Sanctuary invites you to join us for an exciting winter birding adventure! Our team of experts will guide you in identifying winter birds. Whether you’re an experienced birder or new to birding, you can join in the experience. Feel free to borrow binoculars or bring your own.
Our journey will start at the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary’s Resource Center, followed by a one-hour hike along the paved 3/4 mile loop trail to observe the incredible winter birds.
During this hike, we will be counting birds for the Great Backyard Bird Count. You can learn more about this citizen science event at https://www.birdcount.org/.
