What to expect:
Join Sanctuary staff for a guided birding hike on the W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary grounds and enjoy an early spring hike.
Let’s take a walk to celebrate the magnificent Trumpeter Swans of North America. These beautiful birds have made an incredible comeback thanks to excellent partnerships, exciting adventures, and educational leadership. We will talk about Joe Johnson’s work to reintroduce trumpeter swans to Michigan, its conservation impact across the Midwest, and the recent removal from Michigan’s threatened and endangered species list.
Come and join us to improve your identification skills by sight and sound. This hike will be geared towards adults, but avid junior birders are welcome!
