Do you love nature themed stories? We’ve created an experience called Storybook Walk where each month, we will display pages from a new book for visitors to read as they explore along our accessible ¾ mile Paved Path.
- Book Title for June: Wonder Walkers, written and illustrated by Micha Archer
- Book Summary: When two curious children embark on a “wonder walk,” they see the world in
an entirely new light. They ask thoughtful questions about everything around them: Is the sun
the world’s light bulb? Is dirt the world’s skin? Are rivers the earth’s veins? Is the wind the
world breathing? Young readers will be inspired to ponder these ideas as they explore the
story’s beautiful illustrations, sparking curiosity and imagination. What a wonderful world
indeed! - Audience: Family
- Reading Age: 3-7 years
- Language: English
Don’t forget to stop by the Sanctuary Overlook after you finish Storybook Walk to learn more about Pollinators and the science happening at KBS.
FREE to members, regular admission fee for non-members.
Accessible throughout the month during normal business hours.
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
