Learn a new craft and take home a useful example of your work at an upcoming class with the W.K. Kellogg Conference Center and Manor House and instructor Mary Arkush.

About

The Block Cut Prints on Fabric workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in the historic Carriage House’s classroom. The cost is $40 for members and $45 for non-members, and registration is required. To register, call (269) 671-2160 or write to conference@kbs.msu.edu.

All supplies are provided for the class. Participants will select from an assortment of stamps to create their own designs on a kitchen towel or a tote bag to take home, and also can bring fabric items from home to create additional designs.

Designer and instructor Mary Arkush will demonstrate how to make a block cut plate, the best materials to use, and where to get them for those interested in obtaining their own supplies.
