About
The April chat, on Wednesday, April 12, will focus on gardening for birds, highlighting some drought-tolerant native plants that also support our native birds and bees.
The May chat, set for Wednesday, May 10, will feature Julie Melotti, acting wildlife biologist and pathologist at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, who will talk about bird conservation with an emphasis on bird health.
The June chat will take place Wednesday, June 14. In this chat, we’ll talk raptors, including the Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, and Great Horned, Barn, Barred, and Eastern Screech owls.
Birds and Coffee chats are free and open to the public, but donations are welcome, and registration is required to access information on how to join the events.
