June 12 through July 31 | Wild Wednesdays at the Sanctuary

Families with children are invited to this summer’s Wild Wednesday series. Join a W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary naturalist along the trail for a fun, interactive activity, then enjoy a nature-themed craft or more chances to explore the outdoors! While all ages are welcome, the program is geared toward children ages 3-8.

The basics

  • Time and date: 10 a.m. to noon on June 12, 19 & 26 and July 17, 24 & 31
  • Location: W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, 12685 East C Ave., Augusta MI
  • Audience: Families with children ages 3-8
  • Fee: Free for members; $6/adults, $5/seniors and students, $4/children ages 2-17 for non-members
  • Registration: None needed

About

All programs run from 10 a.m. to noon on select Wednesdays at the Sanctuary, with no advance registration required. Admission is free for Sanctuary members, and standard admission is charged for non-members ($6/adult, $5/student or senior, and $4/child; free for children under the age of 2).

  • July 17: Trees and leaves
  • July 24: Eagles
  • July 31: Crows and ravens
