Brad Osborn (left), the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station’s physical plant manager, recently was recognized with an Employee of the Quarter award by Michigan State University’s Infrastructure Planning and Facilities—IPF—department. Four times per year, IPF honors an employee that exemplifies the IPF mission: delivering facilities and services that help Spartans change the world.
Brad Osborn
Brad and his team keep KBS humming; no small task for a small staff responsible for a field station that’s comprised of more than 3,000 acres and contains labs, specialized instrumentation, farm equipment, residential units, offices, historical buildings and more.
In suggesting Brad for the award, his nominator wrote in part, “Brad is an advocate of the incredible facility that makes up KBS. He is bold in his approach to making connections, kind in his support of his colleagues, and innovative in his solutions that work toward a win-win.”
Join us in congratulating Brad on this well-deserved honor!
A legacy of conservation; a commitment to sustainability.
