The W.K. Kellogg Biological Station is hosting a hands-on workshop to teach waterfront property owners how to improve their shorelines and support lake health.

The basics
- Time and date: 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 10

- Audience: Adults, lakefront property owners
- Fee: $25 for Gull Lake Quality Organization members, $35 for Kellogg Bird Sanctuary or Manor House members, and $50 for non-members

Presenters and partners
Erick Elgin, a limnologist and water resources educator with MSU Extension, and Julia Kirkwood, a senior environmental quality analyst with the Michigan Department of Environmental Great Lakes and Energy, will both give talks during the workshop.
The Natural Shoreline Workshop is being held at KBS in partnership with the Gull Lake Quality Organization; Michigan State University Extension; the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy; and Kalamazoo Area Wild Ones.
Registration
