Michigan State University’s College of Natural Science has announced the 2025-26 recipients of their Outstanding Faculty Award. Nick Haddad, a professor in MSU’s Department of Integrative Biology and a resident faculty member at the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station, was one of the awardees.

The other 2025-26 recipients are:
- Laura Chomiuk – Department of Physics and Astronomy
- Sean Crosson – Department of Microbiology, Genetics and Immunology
- Phoebe Zarnetske— Department of Integrative Biology
Nick Haddad
Nick Haddad is a professor of ecology at KBS, in MSU’s Department of Integrative Biology and the Ecology, Evolution and Behavior program, with appointments in the College of Natural Science and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He is the co-director of the KBS Long-Term Ecological Research program, along with Dr. Sarah Evans.

The Outstanding Faculty Award recognizes members of College of Natural Science regular faculty—including tenure-system faculty and librarians in the continuing appointment system—for their exceptional service to MSU.
The award honors individuals whose contributions span across teaching, advising, research, creative works, and public service.
