About
There are many ways to enjoy the gifts of nature at the Sanctuary. Take the shorter Paved Path or the longer Lake Loop Trail for close-up views of waterfowl including native Trumpeter Swans. Find the Sanctuary spot that’s home to its ambassador birds—Bald Eagles, Red-tailed Hawks and several owl species. Walk the Bluebird Trail, learn about the impact of restoration plantings and observe a prairie restoration project. Visit the Sanctuary gardens to see native plants in action—as well as the pollinators that coexist with them.
The Sanctuary will be open Wednesday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
