What to expect
Come and take a spring walk with us in celebration of W.K. Kellogg’s birthday and his land gift to MSU that created the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station!
Admission to the W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary is free from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 7.
Free tours of the Kellogg Manor House will be offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s open house will focus on three very important time periods of Mr. Kellogg’s professional journey, including his time as a bookkeeper at the Sanitarium, the period of entrepreneurship in the cereal business, and lastly, his philanthropic vision, work and foundations within his beloved community.
We also will celebrate W.K. Kellogg’s birthday this year! He was born on April 7, 1860.
