Grab your explorer hat and join a naturalist on the trail for a hands-on, up-close adventure! Each week, enjoy a fun nature-themed craft and meet amazing creatures up close.
July 15: Slither Science- secrets of snake survival
Join us to explore how snakes move and use camouflage to hide in plain sight. Then become a snake detective and learn how to identify Michigan species by looking at body shape, head shape, pupil type, and color patterns.
Event information:
- Time: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Dates: Wednesdays, July 15, 22
- Audience: Families with children under eight years
- Cost: Members are free; non-members: $6/adults, $5/seniors and students, $4/children ages 2-17
- No registration required
